Free Tracking

A limited free tracking service is now available for all our unregistered trackers, subject to a fair use policy. Each tracker comes pre-configured to relay its location to our servers (for details on how to change the device setting, please consult the user manual). Whilst historical data is not stored, a recent position for each unregistered tracker is kept on our system. This free tracking service is not real-time, and may be delayed by upto 4 hours.

Each tracker is uniquely identified by its IMEI code which can be used to locate the device on free.motortrace.com.

On the free tracking site, you will be given the option to input an IMEI code, similar to this image below.

After entering the 15-digit IMEI code and correct Anti-spam code, the location of the tracker should appear. If you wish to upgrade to basic tracking, please click on the 'Upgrade' button. You will be requested to login or register, and once paid the tracker will be added to your account.

Upgrading allows you to view historical journeys, generate reports, add more detailed mapping and many more features.
