Live Position & Mapping

You can view the latest position of your vehicle on a map from anywhere in the world though our password-protected website.

The position of a single tracker can be viewed from each trackers Map tab

Postitions and journeys of single or many trackers can be viewed at the same time from the Trackers > Map View drop down menu. Select the tracker you wish to view, select a journey or a 'last x hours', select a colour for the trail, and click 'Add'. It should then appear in the 'Visible Journeys' section.

This map view automatically updates the position of all the live vehicles on the map every 10 seconds, and will re-center the map around the tracker which it is 'Following'. To stop the re-centering on each live update, select 'Stop Following'.

To remove a live vehicle position or journey from the map, select the delete icon: .

Journeys can be animated by selecting the animate icon: . The animate panel should appear, and provide the following options to control the playback:

	Play the animation
	Pause the animation
	Stop the animation
	Step forward
	Step backward

 

Reports for a journey can be created by clicking on the report icon: .

A GPX file (suitable for viewing in Google Earth or uploading to Open Street Map) can be generated by clicking on the OSM icon: .
